Chef DC Meals was created with a simple belief: great Caribbean food cannot be rushed, and it should never rely on shortcuts. Every meal we prepare is rooted in authentic Caribbean cooking, crafted with intention, and built on quality ingredients and time-honoured techniques.

We use Halal-certified chicken, fresh farmers’ market produce, and carefully selected spices to ensure every dish starts with the best possible foundation. Our vegetables are sourced locally whenever possible, picked at peak freshness for better flavour and nutrition.

From there, everything is prepared from scratch. Our sauces, marinades, spice blends, and dressings are all made in-house using traditional Caribbean methods, allowing each meal to develop bold, layered flavour.

Clean cooking is a core part of our philosophy. We cook exclusively with avocado oil and olive oil and never use seed oils such as canola or vegetable oil. The result is food that tastes better, feels better, and aligns with a cleaner, higher-quality meal prep experience.

Our signature jerk chicken represents what Chef DC meals Meals stands for. It follows a true multi-day process that cannot be replicated by fast takeout or rushed kitchens. Each batch is brined for 24 hours, marinated for another 24 hours in our house-made jerk blend, then slow-smoked for hours in an authentic wood smoker. No ovens. No shortcuts. Just real Caribbean technique and unmistakable flavour.
